Visa
Should you require a letter of invitation as part of a visa application, please provide the following information: First Name, last Name, address, city, state/province, citizenship, passport number, passport expiry, place and date of Birth and email it to cemeas@uni-goettingen.de.
Arriving by plane and train
The nearest major airport from Göttingen (Goettingen) is Frankfurt (FRA). From Frankfurt Airport you can take an intercity express train directly to Göttingen, it takes about 2h to get to Göttingen (Goettingen). For all topics regarding timetables for train connections, online tickets and seat reservations, please refer to the German Railway website. Other airports within 2-3h from Göttingen (Goettingen) are Berlin, Leipzig or Hannover.
Finding your Hotel
We made reservations in Hotel Eden. It is located in walking distance from the train station (appr. 15 min) and only a stone’s throw away from the conference venue.
