Arriving by plane and train
The nearest major airport from Göttingen is Frankfurt (FRA). From Frankfurt Airport you can take an intercity express train directly to Göttingen, it takes about 2h to get to Göttingen. For all topics
regarding timetables for train connections, online tickets and seat reservations, please refer to the German Railway website. Please, click here to get further information in English. Other airports within 2-3h from Göttingen are Berlin, Leipzig or Hannover.
Accommodation &Travel Expenses
All active participants will be reimbursed for travel expenses and accommodation in Göttingen.
We will cover accommodation costs in nearby hotels from Feb 21st to Feb 23th (international participants) and from Feb 22nd to Feb 23rd (for participants from Germany). If you need to change or cancel the reservation, please let me know.
To this end, please keep all your receipts (including e-tickets, boarding passes, receipts and others). We can cover travel costs (including visa fees) up to approximately: 1000€ PRC/Hong Kong/India/USA, 400€ France/UK, 2nd Class train tickets for Germany. We cover economy-class flights and second-class train travel. We kindly ask you to book early and check for saver-airfare offers. Money can only be transferred to (either private or institutional) accounts.

Board and Catering
Apart from breakfast at Hotel Stadt Hannover, the conference coffee breaks, the conference dinner on Day 1 & Conference lunch on Day 2, we cannot provide additional lunches or dinners. Participiants are asked to pay for additional lunch & dinner themselves.
